About Cameron Jenkins
Cameron Jenkins is a producer and engineer whose recent work has put him at the forefront of the alternative/indie music scene. He has just finished recording and mixing The Verve’s forthcoming album. His mixing of the last two Lemon Jelly albums and John Cale’s ‘Hobosapiens’ garnered widespread critical acclaim. He recorded and mixed the Badly Drawn Boy album ‘Born in the UK’ and co-produced ‘Barn’ by Blacksand. Cameron has a long association with Everything But The Girl and helped Tracey Thorn record her album ‘Out Of The Woods’.
Cameron is highly regarded in the Latin world for his production of Amaral, whose albums have sold two million copies throughout Spain and Latin America.
He has engineered for legendary producers such as Phil Ramone, Terry Britten, Rupert Hine and Robin Millar.
Records that Cameron has been involved with in the last few years have seen nominations for a Latin Grammy, 2 Mercury Prizes, an MTV best band award, a Brit and a MOBO.
Cameron has his own studio based around a hybrid Trident/Calrec console, both ProTools and analogue recording and an extensive range of vintage outboard and microphones.
